SACRED SMUDGE ILLUSTRATION PROJECT; 2001 - 2006: These images and written scripts will be sign over to MISHIBINIJIMA'S legal council, let them watch over this project internationally.

1. Book Cover: Smudging Bowl
NOTE: My mother and I walked the forests of Wikwemikong to harvest sacred smudge medicene over a period of 15 years and each time she told me not to bring a note book for me to undertstand what each sacred plant represents for spiritual self cleansing and it's very important to use spiritual medicene with balance. ( brief statements for each medicene will follow.)

2. CHI-WAUB-BIN-NOO-ISK-K

This plant holds special energy to ward off negitive light and thoughts towards anything you own and use daily.

3. WEE-GUSH

The braided sweetgrass represents hair of the Great Spirit, this will cleanse your inner light and your personal property.

4. WA-AUB-BUCK-GOO'S

This medicene will help your spirit hide in thick smoke to recognise your negitive adversary.

5. MISS-SQUA-BOO-NEEK

This medicine protects your daily tools of survival, no matter what the tool might be, they all need cleansing before using.

6. NOAH-DI-BAUN-ME'-SHEE'S

This medicene can change it's appearance and decoy the words and thoughts of negativity that lurk around us.

SACRED SMUDGE: Each medicine plant serves a purpose towards cleansing your -spirit for spiritual strength. It's very important for mankind to see with clarity because it's very easy to have negitive light planted within you. You can tell when this happens, a person will walk in confusion then clarity with judgements call is absent, your inner spirit ventures out in darkness because the inner light within you has blown out and why it bumps into things you need to go on.

The Sacred Smudge along with the Seven Grandfathers teachings hold the foundations for living in harmony for all mankind, all it needs to understand is by taking a good look within his household because, thats the next generation of tomorrow and ask himself, what will this child teach towards it's peers.

Sacred Smudge Medicine and the Seven Grandfathers teachings are internationally thought by the worlds people in some form but more needs to be done through understanding and where to begin,

To build a strong house, the house needs a strong foundation to weather storms it might face and the storm right now is the youth's deterioration and the most important things to remember, some of these youths are parents now.
